Be prepared – be aware that alcohol and drugs might make you less able to make an informed decision. Try to look out for your friends, and always watch your drinks – it is very easy to slip something into a glass or bottle.
Try to make sure you alternate alcoholic drinks with a glass of water or a soft drink – this allows you to pace yourself and have a better night.
Free condoms in a variety of shapes, sizes and flavours are available from the Harm Reduction team and are also supplied for free in our waiting areas.
Condoms can also be obtained for free by post from Central Sexual Health here
If you require emergency contraception following unprotected sex or if your condom has burst, can contact your nearest sexual health clinic for further advice, out with clinic times you should phone NHS 24. Most pharmacies in Forth Valley will supply the Emergency Pill free of charge to anyone aged 13 and over who is registered with a GP. The sooner you take it the more effective it is (within 72 hours).
